person Biography
I’m a registered social worker and settler of Scottish and French descent living in N’Swakamok (Greater Sudbury). I offer compassionate, ecocentric therapy for those navigating grief, life transitions, identity shifts, and climate distress. My relational, person-centred approach honours your unique needs, values, and identity, treating you as the expert in your own life. I often work through walk-and-talk sessions on quiet forest trails, where nature supports reflection, movement, and healing. Whether we’re walking side-by-side outdoors or connecting online, our work is grounded in trust, respect, and a deep understanding of trauma, grief, and their social, political, and environmental contexts. As a settler therapist practicing on Anishinaabe Land in the Robinson-Huron Treaty territory, I engage with humility, support Indigenous sovereignty, and redistribute a percentage of all fees to Indigenous-led organizations. Together, we create space for open, honest conversation—meeting the hard seasons of life with care, steadiness, and respect for the land we’re on.
