Meg Lindemulder

Canadian Certified Counsellor

My aim is to provide the connection and support you need to better understand and navigate the challenges you are currently facing. I use trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches to therapy in my work with children, youth, and adults to promote healing, growth, and personal wellbeing. In my work with you, I will remind you of your innate strengths and values and encourage you to listen to and trust your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. I will invite you to be curious about yourself so that you can begin to recognize the patterns of thinking and behaviour that might be holding you back and identify how various influences in your life impact your functioning. I will also work to help you re-establish and strengthen the mind-body connection within yourself as a means of promoting holistic mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. My experiences as a teacher, a counsellor, and a parent of neurodiverse children have helped me recognize that each person has their own unique strengths and resources. I believe that my greatest strengths as a therapist are my abilities to build meaningful rapport with clients and to meet them where they are when they come in for counselling. On the more personal note, I am a natural introvert who loves camping, cooking, puzzling, and reading. My favourite seasons are spring and fall because they remind me that change can be beautiful.
