Candace Legault

Registered Provisional Psychologist

I work primarily with women who are struggling with filling their own tank and in turn feeling disconnected, flat and uninspired. This shows up in so many ways; you could be struggling to stay focused, worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet, having seemingly random fits of tears or anger, and beating yourself up for not ‘doing more’. You find yourself day dreaming often and feeling disconnected from yourself. You’re on edge constantly but aren’t sure why, and tell yourself you don’t have time or energy to do things you want to. I’m a tattooed, spiritual, anxious overthinker and HSP (highly sensitive person). I get the struggles that come with juggling your needs and others, having a hard time relating to others and feeling isolated in your own mind. Our journey together will include a mix of evidence-based approaches, neuroscience and spirituality but also dark humour, cussing and some tears. As we navigate your struggles, I promise to do my best to create an environment that encourages safety and self-discovery. My clients struggle with thinking they are 'too sensitive', 'too much' or 'not enough', struggle with confidence and a lack of meaning. Working together, we will help listen to your needs and enforce them without guilt, without giving your power away and worrying what others will think. Feeling ready? Let's connect.
