Dr. Erin Pougnet
Child Psychologist
I received my B.A. (honours) from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and my M.A. and Ph.D. from Concordia University in Montreal. I completed my Predoctoral Residency at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, where I gained experience in the Child Abuse Service, the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic Clinic, the Mood, Anxiety, and Psychosis Service (MAPS), the Metabolic Disorders Clinic, and the Sleep Clinic. Subsequently, I worked as a clinical psychologist at the ASD Diagnostic Clinic from 2012-2020 and at MAPS/the OCD Program from 2012-2024. I am passionate about assessing neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adolescents, as well as helping youth to overcome challenges related to anxiety, low mood, emotion dysregulation, and executive dysfunction.
