Jeff Herrera Roman

Jeff (he/him) is a registered social worker based in Ottawa, who also practices at The Ottawa Hospital. He obtained his Master of Social Work degree at Carleton University with a specialty in mental health and works collaboratively with patients living with anxiety, depression, marital difficulties and interpersonal challenges. Jeff aims at creating a safe positive space where patients can feel free to express themselves without judgement, and employ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and strengths based counseling to empower patients for change. Jeff himself has a keen awareness that each patient is unique and requires a treatment plan to meet the needs and wants of each individual patient. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys travel, reading, and the outdoors.
