Ana Hrincu
Registered Social Worker
Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. Okay, pretty much all the time. I work with individuals to increase their self-compassion and therefore ability to cope with their life circumstances. Does mom guilt have a chokehold on you? Feeling like you "should" be doing better than you are at work? Going through a life transition and just being downright mean to yourself? I can help. I provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space to coach you into self-compassion and help you recognize your self-worth and innate value.
I have years of experience working with those living with chronic illness, disability, caregiver burn out, grief, and perinatal mental health.
Working together, we will explore your barriers to self-compassion and rewrite your internal narrative to bring more kindness to yourself and therefore your family, friends, and life.
I am a Registered Social Worker through the Alberta College of Social Workers, have a certificate of completion in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders from Postpartum Support International, and have intimate knowledge and experience working through grief and integrating self-compassion into bereavement.
