Jennifer Fukushima

Greetings, I am Jennifer Fukushima (she/they) and I am here to support you in moving towards greater wholeness. As a biracial, non-binary person of colour and fourth generation Canadian I hold that identity is complex and I want to make space for you to be seen for your true, authentic self. I embrace that the symptoms you are experiencing are part of a larger whole. Together, we can work to create meaning and clarity for you, on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. Our sessions are informed by your unique position within time, culture and the fabric of our society. I am 2SLGBTQIA+ aligned, ENM informed, culturally sensitive and work from a harm reduction, anti-capitalist, feminist lens. Consent is a big part therapy and I welcome your no, as much as I welcome your yes. I have experience supporting those who are struggling with self-esteem, depression, anger, anxiety, relationship challenges, people pleasing, life transitions, identity issues, substance use, as well as borderline personality disorder (BPD). As an astrologer, spiritual seeker and clinician, I believe there is profound potential for healing at the intersection between scientific evidence-based practice and the spiritual. I welcome individuals of all spiritual and religious backgrounds. Through transpersonal therapy, we can move toward the integration of spiritual experiences and non-ordinary states of consciousness. The issues I treat are all experiences I have intimate familiarity with through my own life or the lives of family, friends and loved ones which allows me to operate from a position of deep, inner resonance. As a wounded healer, I consider it an honour and a privilege to accompany you on your own healing journey.
