Audrey Kodye, B.A., M.Ed. in Clinical Psychology
Registered Psychologist & Islamic therapist
HI – AS SALAAM ALEYKUM, BONJOUR – I’M AUDREY.
I'm a Registered Psychologist and Islamic therapist based in Edmonton, in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists and with personal experience with mental health struggles.
I want you to know that, despite what you’ve been taught, seeking help is not a sign of weakness; it’s truly an act of courage.
After working in different settings as a therapist and head of department, I founded Overcome Anxiety Psychological, my Edmonton-based practice, in 2020, to provide quality, specialized online therapy & counselling for women.
For 13 years, I have been helping women to:
- overcome anxiety & depression,
- attain self-confidence,
- heal from trauma & be empowered,
including by offering specialized support rooted in the Qu'ran, Sunnah and Seerah for Muslim women, thanks to my training in Islamic psychology and therapy.
I use the therapy approach that transformed my life when I was facing my own struggles, and integrate Islamic teachings, including those that personally helped me, for clients who prefer this.
I am committed to making the process both easy and safe for you.
If you are a woman in Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Nunavut or Quebec, please schedule a free 15-minute secure video call consultation with me by email, or on my website where you will also find a wealth of information about my work.
I look forward to helping you feel liberated and content, in a deep, compassionate, lasting, data-driven and aligned way!
