Connie Lupichuk

Registered Social Worker

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Connie Lupichuk, and I am a Social Work Masters graduate with over 40 years of experience. Throughout my professional journey, I have faced numerous obstacles and challenges, which I have successfully overcome. I believe that it is perfectly normal for people to go through periods where they require support. It is not a flaw, but rather a reflection of our human nature. Having had the privilege of supporting countless individuals in their emotional struggles, I find it truly inspiring to witness how people strive to feel better and empower themselves. They take charge of their emotions and lives, and it’s remarkable to see. Throughout the years, my experiences have equipped me with a wide range of skills, particularly in building relationships and assisting individuals in navigating various emotional challenges. In my practice, I offer support to both teenagers and adults in various areas. Anxiety, anger, and depression can often become overwhelming for individuals. Relationship counseling can help couples restore emotional intimacy and strengthen their bond. However, communicating with children can be challenging due to their unique individuality. That’s why I provide guidance and support for parents in effectively communicating with their children. In addition to that, I provide divorce counseling to assist individuals in navigating the challenging process of divorce. By engaging in therapy, individuals can gain the necessary knowledge to make well-informed decisions for themselves and their children, all while achieving emotional stability. I prioritize the restoration of child attachments and the promotion of family reunification. Another area of specialization for me is career counseling, where I aid individuals in discovering a career path that aligns with their unique strengths and talents. Moreover, I offer mediation services to encourage resolution and foster connections among individuals. Throughout my professional experience, I have had the privilege of interacting with numerous individuals who have found therapy to be highly beneficial. These individuals have consistently reported significant improvements in various aspects of their lives. Specifically, therapy has empowered them to effectively handle triggers, navigate relationships, and resolve conflicts. Additionally, it has played a pivotal role in helping them develop better communication skills, resulting in increased confidence and empowerment. One recurring theme that has emerged from these interactions is the transformative power of forgiveness. Many individuals have shared how therapy has helped them not only forgive themselves but also extend forgiveness towards others. This process has been deeply impactful, allowing them to experience healing and growth. Furthermore, therapy has enabled these individuals to gain a greater sense of competence in making decisions for themselves and their children. They have discussed how therapy has equipped them with the necessary tools and strategies to confidently navigate life’s challenges. This newfound competence has empowered them to make informed choices that positively impact their well-being and the well-being of their loved ones. In summary, therapy has proven to be a valuable resource for these individuals, providing them with the support and guidance needed to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth. The positive outcomes they have experienced, such as improved coping skills, stronger relationships, and increased self-confidence, highlight the significant benefits that therapy can bring to individuals seeking personal development and emotional well-being. In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapies to address the diverse needs and challenges of my clients. One of the approaches I incorporate is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is effective in helping individuals navigate their current situations, develop productive strategies, break free from unhelpful patterns, and ultimately achieve their goals. Another technique I employ is mindfulness, which involves focusing on the present moment and being aware of one’s thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in order to attain inner peace. Additionally, Solution-Focused Therapy is a method that emphasizes identifying and utilizing strengths, resources, and coping strategies to successfully reach one’s goals, rather than focusing on weaknesses and deficits. Furthermore, exploring the connection between the past and the present in psychotherapy can be beneficial in alleviating anxiety and depression, as it allows individuals to develop the capacity to identify recurring problems over time. In our busy lives, it can be easy to lose touch with ourselves and what we truly desire. However, sometimes it takes a crisis to make us pause and seek the support we need. That’s why I offer virtual services in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Furthermore, I also have occasional in-office availability in Saskatoon and Penticton. I recognize the significance of accessibility and flexibility in providing assistance to those who are in need. So, if you require help, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am here for you and will make time. My Fees: • For individual sessions, the cost is $170 per 50 minutes. • Couples and consulting sessions cost $185 per 50 minutes. I can give you a receipt for reimbursement from your benefit plan or personal income tax purposes. I have been working with a diverse population for over forty years. My areas of specialty are relationship counselling, most mental health concerns, life coaching, career counselling high conflict separation/divorce, assessment preparation, evaluations and court testimony. Everyone needs help, I certainly have.
