Eric Proulx
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
I take a humanistic approach and work with you to set out your goals, promote self-understanding, build strategies to ease psychological pain, cultivate self-acceptance and strive towards positive change. Therapy doesn't have to be a cold, sterile process and I believe there is lots of room for laughter in the therapy room!
When working with couples, it's important to create a space where honest dialogue can take place with both partners feeling heard and respected. From that starting point, alongside clients, I have often worked on issues such as communication challenges, becoming more emotionally connected as a couple or getting through specific life challenges or transitions.
If it feels like the right time to move forward, click on my website link to view my schedule and book a session at Avery Therapy Centre. I also offer a free 15 minute consult call where I can learn about what brings you to counselling and offer some ideas of where we could begin, letting you see if I'm the right fit. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
