Liz Dean
Social Worker, Psychotherapist
Feeling alone? I would love to support you with therapy personalized to you and your unique needs. Sometimes we find ourselves feeling disconnected, insecure, anxious, angry, sad and exhausted - at ourselves, the world, our family and friends. We don't know what to do about it and it can make us feel utterly alone. Together we can find a path forward so you can move more authentically in life.
I work with people experiencing struggles like self-doubt, loneliness, anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic pain or illness, emotional dysregulation and difficulties in relationships or new stages of life.
My style is direct and genuinely non-judgemental. You will hear me say “that makes sense because…” a lot. My goal is to create a space where you can gain deep wisdom around your situation. Because when we understand and accept where we are, we can begin to see a different path for our future - and begin to like ourselves and our lives life more.
My approach is trauma informed and I have extensive training and work with techniques proven to help including: Adult Attachment, Compassion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, DBT, CBT, Truama therapies and Mindfulness skills.
