Amy Moore
Registered Social Worker
Amy Moore (she/her) is a registered social worker. She obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto. Amy specializes in working with children, youth, families, and adults, and has experience in both hospital and community settings where she provides individual, group and family counselling.
Amy has worked with folks experiencing a wide range of presenting concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, school attendance/school challenges, ADHD, parenting support, and interpersonal challenges.
Amy’s hope is that individuals feel safe and supported in session by utilizing a collaborative, genuine, and client-centred approach in order to foster a positive relationship and empower clients to make meaningful change. Amy has completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Skills Training (EFST) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her partner and son, being outdoors, reading and cooking.
