Biography

I'm Dr. Lisa Pascal and I'm a child psychologist who specializes in the treatment of moderate to severe mental health challenges including OCD, anxiety disorders, and challenging behaviours. Having suffered from anxiety, perfectionism, and obsessive compulsive behaviours myself, I understand the toll mental health challenges can take. Luckily I came across acceptance and commitment therapy and my whole life changed! Now I'm super passionate about helping children and teens live a meaningful life using these techniques. Although my passion is working with youth, I believe parents play a large role in the treatment process too. I also provide ADHD and psychoeducational assessments for children and youth. If you notice your child struggling at school, a comprehensive assessment can help you understand the underlying cause and help you access services and supports to help them achieve success. I completed my Ph.D. in child clinical psychology at the University of Windsor, which included completing a year-long residency in London working in hospital, residential and forensic settings. Recently I've worked at the Mood and Anxiety/OCD clinic and Foothills adolescent inpatient unit. Email me to set up a free phone call to see if we are a good fit.
