My name is Tryphena Gabriel, and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and an Educator. I have worked with children and adolescents with behaviour, emotional and intellectual difficulties in and out of the school setting for over 21 years. I have also counselled many individuals, couples, and minority and indigenous populations for many years, helping them find their voice and worth while building strategies to improve and build self-capacity and self-love to assist clients in reaching their goals. I have training in many areas, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, ADHD, ODD, Autism, trauma, relationship issues and other mental health concerns. In this ever-changing world, it can be difficult to ask for help or accept help. I am here to work with you to develop a plan that works for you and helps you live a full, rich, meaningful life. I invite you to my safe space to share and grow together on your journey to mental wellness. As a Therapist, I use a person-centred, client-focused approach and a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Brief Solution Focused Therapy to help you live your best life.
