Melanie Francis
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I work from a relational, client-centered approach because I believe healing begins within safe, supportive relationships, whether in therapy, partnership, or family systems. My goal is to create a space where individuals, couples, and families feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
With experience in addiction treatment, disability services, school-based counselling, and youth and family programs, I bring a trauma-informed, culturally aware lens to every session. I support clients navigating neurodivergence, emotional dysregulation, substance use, and relational stress within families or romantic partnerships.
As someone in a long-term marriage and a parent, I understand the complex dynamics that exist within families and couples. I help clients uncover patterns, repair ruptures, and foster deeper connection between partners, parents and children, or across generations.
If you're seeking a therapist who offers warmth, authenticity, and grounded support through life’s relational challenges, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
