I specialize in supporting women in a compassionate, warm and client-centered way. We as women feel guilty for prioritizing ourselves all too often. We are used to putting others’ needs and comfort before our own. Maybe you notice being very critical of yourself. Perhaps you’re struggling with relationships, life changes or overwhelming emotions like anxiety, anger or shame. You might be asking yourself: “Who am I? Is this the life I want?” I want you to know that you don’t have to deal with it alone. In my practice, I provide a warm and safe space for you to be heard and connect more deeply with your thoughts and feelings so we better understand what's going on for you. Together, we can help you heal and grow, identify what you truly want, build the confidence you need to be yourself, and take gentle steps toward the life you envision. I am a Registered Social Worker with 15+ years of experience, originally from Austria. I live in Vancouver, BC, where I started my private practice in 2021. I offer online and in-person counselling for women and individuals identifying on the femme-spectrum on topics like anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, workplace stress and life transitions. I continuously educate myself and attend additional training, workshops, seminars and clinical supervision to ensure a high-quality standard in my work. In 2022, I received my Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certification through an ICF-accredited coach training program. My counselling is client-centered, warm and compassionate, and I use a mix of different approaches like solution-focused therapy, somatic therapy, parts work, trauma-informed counselling and life coaching. Besides my private practice, I work as a counsellor in two abortion clinics in Vancouver. And I have two cats, Felix and Leo :-)
