Biography

For most of my life I have been the one people turned to for support, high-functioning, capable, always “fine” on the outside. But beneath that surface was a quiet ache: anxiety, people-pleasing, and the sense that I had lost touch with my true self. My healing journey began when I finally gave myself permission to slow down, feel, and get curious. After 20 years as an educator, I forged a new path that led me back to studying psychology, choosing a Holistic counselling diploma, learning and practice Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and most recently Soul-based Trauma Healing—modalities that not only help me unravel long-held patterns, but reconnect with a deep sense of clarity, freedom, and wholeness. I’m now a Registered Professional Counsellor-Candidate, Somatic Therapist, and Certified Life Coach with a background in education, Yoga / Mindfulness / MBSR, expat living, remedial education, especially for neurodivergent youth. I also bring years of personal exploration and spiritual practice into the work. I specialize in helping women who are navigating anxiety, burnout, major transitions, or a quiet inner knowing that they’re ready for something more. My style is intuitive, relational, and grounded. I offer gentle, transformative support that helps you heal the past, reconnect with your values, and move forward with intention. Outside the therapy room, I’m a lifelong learner, nature lover, and someone who deeply believes in the power of story, embodiment, and small, soulful shifts. I offer personalized session notes and between-session resources to help your insights take root and support meaningful change.
