Heather Armstrong
Registered Psychologist #7203
I like to be real and direct with my clients, and break down clinical knowledge in digestible ways through metaphors, visual guides, and pop culture references. Our sessions will be collaborative to ensure we're on the same page about your goals and needs, full of thought provoking questions, and use of engaging homework and actions to work towards your goals.
I predominantly utilize Compassion-Focused Therapy/CFT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/ACT, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy/CBT to support clients with their goals. These approaches explore how our evolution and lived experiences impact our thoughts and beliefs, feelings, and actions. By understanding how we've developed and how we maintain these ways of being, we can reduce shame and learn how to inspire change in these patterns.
Having a good fit with a therapist is important: email me to book a free 15-minute consult to ensure that the vibe is right for you. I hope to hear from you!
