Laura Clarke
Registered Psychotherapist
Do you find yourself feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of self-doubt, burnout, or unhelpful coping? Maybe it feels hard to stay present with yourself or in your relationships, and even harder to know where to begin.
I’m a registered psychotherapist supporting individuals who long to feel more connected to themselves, their bodies and their lives. My work is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and curiosity - creating a space where you can slow down, explore, and begin to understand the patterns that have shaped how you move through the world. Together, we’ll work toward a sense of safety, self-trust, and meaningful change.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational and integrative. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic and Psychodynamic approaches, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — always tailoring our work to meet your individual needs. I also hold specialized training in trauma, sex therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with experience supporting clients around attachment wounds, body image, disordered eating, and emotional regulation.
Therapy with me often focuses on deepening awareness, expanding your capacity to regulate, and exploring the unconscious experiences that shape your relationships and sense of self. My hope is that you’ll feel more grounded, resourced, and able to move through life with compassion and clarity.
Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after time away, I know how vulnerable reaching out can feel. I aim to make our time together feel like a genuine conversation - one built on trust, empathy, and collaboration.
Beyond the therapy space, I remain deeply committed to ongoing learning and growth, ensuring that my work stays responsive and grounded in best practices. I’d be honoured to support you as you move toward deeper healing, connection, and self-understanding. Let’s connect - I’d love to meet you.
