Andrea Linett
Clinical and Health Psychologist
I am a licensed Clinical and Health Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I earned her Master's degree and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). I completed a CPA-accredited predoctoral internship within the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium, where I provided assessment and treatment services to adolescents and adults with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and related disorders, and emotion regulation difficulties.
I currently provides psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults with a variety of presenting problems. My primary theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I am dedicated to providing exceptional client care and delivering evidence-based methods for psychological assessment and treatment. I approach my clinical practice with a collaborative and nonjudgmental attitude, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and a genuine interest in my clients' experiences.
In addition to my private practice, I hold a position as Clinical Consultant with the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, through the Canadian Mental Health Association (York Region and South Simcoe branch). In this capacity she provides education, training and clinical consultation in CBT to the program psychotherapists.
