Stacey McDonald
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Hi, I'm Stacey (She/Her)!
Are you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or struggling to cope with the day-to-day challenges of your chronic illness? Maybe you've gone through recent job loss, a relationship breakup, or you've recently graduated and you're having a hard time figuring out who you are in this next chapter of your life. Perhaps you're burning out - giving your all to your work, relationships and other responsibilities leaving little time for yourself. Together, we can work to help you explore your values, learn coping skills, and process current and past issues so that you can feel more in control of your life and better connected to who you are and what you want.
I approach my work from a place of lived experience of chronic pain/illness and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I take a relational and authentic approach to therapy, focusing on building the relationship and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to open up. My style uses humour, gentle challenging, and practical insight and tools to encourage change (however that looks for you).
