Hi, I'm Stacey (She/Her)!
Are you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or struggling to cope with the day-to-day challenges of your chronic illness? Has chronic pain or symptoms kept you from doing the things you love? Chronic pain and illness can bring up feelings of frustration, anxiety, grief, and uncertainty—emotions that are often difficult to navigate alone. Together, we can work to help you build resilience, explore your values and improve your emotional well-being, so that you can feel more in control of your life and get back to doing some of what you love to do!
I approach my work from a place of lived experience of chronic pain/illness. I take a relational and authentic approach to therapy, focusing on building the relationship and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to open up. My style uses humour, gentle challenging, and practical insight and tools to encourage change (however that looks for you).
I understand the unique challenges of navigating the medical system, feeling invalidated by doctors (or loved ones), and the grief (or relief!) that can come with a new diagnosis. Living with a chronic health issue is a full-time job but you don't have to manage it alone. Book a FREE 20 min consult to see if we're the right fit!
