Hi, I’m Danielle! I offer in person and virtual support for children, youth and adults.I am an LGBTQ therapist who brings lived experience and understanding to my work with LGBTQ+ folks that goes beyond allyship. Areas of focus include neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, women’s mental health, and helping professionals. I offer a discount for helping professionals to reduce barriers to therapy for the helpers in our community. My approach to therapy is grounded in meaning making, developing insight and empowerment. I draw on approaches such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and attachment informed interventions. I help clients make sense of their emotions, behaviours and relationships through strengths based, compassion focused and attachment informed approaches. I also offer Circle of Security Parenting programming for individuals, couples and groups.
