Thea Megas / KAYDA Health
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Clinic Owner
What if it could be better? My team of expert Clinical Counsellors & Occupational Therapists help burnt out, anxious, depressed, ADHD, neurodivergent, demotivated & traumatized, professionals, parents, couples & students (aged 5+) answer this and create meaningful life changes. Through a validating, relational & dynamic approach, our clients gain new skills and strategies in a safe and affirming space. We believe therapy is for everyone, and we work hard to find the right tool for the right concern, no matter where you are starting from.
Personally, I LOVE the life-changing work I do in helping people feel safety and comfort while enhancing, shifting, and healing. It is an incredibly meaningful and important piece of my life to be with people on the journey and see lives become healthier, more fulfilled, and more meaningful. Hearing people 'own' their value, mindset, choices, and witnessing and growing the skills, insight, and self-compassion that will carry them forward are what drive me.
My main focus is women & burnout, but with my team, our clinic can help almost anyone (couples, families, children, youth; anxiety, trauma, depression, executive function, etc.).
I work very hard to bring in expertise for my clients to support strategic and powerful changes, to make sure there is a balance between working hard, feeling everything, and finding laughter and fun in sessions with me and fulfillment in life overall. I am a soloprenuer, adult-diagnosed ADHDer, mama (fur babies & skin babies), and wife. I have a Master's of Counselling degree, am a Registered Clinical Counsellor/ Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC, ACS) in BC, Canada, and have about 20 years of experience in mental health. In 2022, I left the corporate world behind to run my private practice, more for the joy of it than anything, and I have been growing in so many wonderful ways since then. I am a content contributor for the Thinkladder App (provides alternate thoughts for limiting beliefs, and is free), and enjoy spending time in nature, sipping hot beverages, and laughing (so much laughing). If you are into the idea of a freebie challenge, I recently pulled together a 30 Days to Nourish Your Soul Workbook - you can download a copy of it from https://www.kaydahealth.ca/tools-resources for free if you're looking for something you can easily integrate into your life to help address burnout.
If you are thinking about how working with an RCC can help your life be better, please book a consult or a session; I would love to be there for you. I have availability Monday - Thursdays, online and in person, days, afternoons, and evenings. I also have a 1 month+ waitlist, so don't hesitate to look to the rest of the team for faster support!
