Amanda Iaci
Registered Clinical Counsellor
Hi, I’m Amanda Iaci (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the founder of The Magic Playroom—a sensory-friendly, playful space where children and families can feel safe, supported, and celebrated. I specialize in working with neurodivergent kids, including those with Autism, FASD, and PDA, using approaches that are affirming, trauma-informed, and relationship-based.
My work is grounded in Synergetic Play Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Sand Tray Therapy. Whether it’s through bubbles, building games, or sensory play, I focus on co-regulation, emotional safety, and helping children make sense of their inner world.
I also offer caregiver coaching and collaborate with teachers, OTs, SLPs, and other professionals to support the child’s full ecosystem. I believe therapy should feel like an invitation—not a demand—and I’m passionate about creating spaces where children can explore who they are, at their own pace, in their own way.
