Denise Mansell, MACP, RSW, RCC, CCC

New to Medicine Hat, Alberta, Denise been in Private Practice supporting clients on Vancouver Island since 2012. Her new Alberta office strives to create a safe, comfortable and private setting where you can share your experiences without judgment. It provides a low-visibility setting and ample off-street parking. Denise holds both a Registered Social Work degree (RSW) and a Masters in Clinical Counselling (CCC, RCC). She is experienced in providing effective therapy for a broad range of challenges, helping people to build distress tolerance, explore boundary issues, and find individualized ways to feel better. Prior to opening the Alberta office, she provided individualized counselling as well as specialized services for Cowichan Valley Hospice Society and related health professionals and teams. Her background includes many years of working within rural farming communities, Crime Victim Services programs, disaster response supports and with First Nations communities providing IRS and trauma counselling programs. Denise continues to provide assessments for the Provincial Persons With Disability (PWD) Program in British Columbia and is a practicing therapist and board Member with the BC Clinical Hypnotherapy Association (CCHABC). *Supportive, non-judgemental therapy for Loss and Traumatic Change.
