About

I hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree in Outdoor Pursuits from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselling with a concentration in Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I run True Nature Wilderness Therapy where we offer mentorship and therapy.

Biography

I honour you as the expert in your life. And yet, there are times when we feel lost, alone, and as though nothing is working. If you're unsure as to next steps towards your life purpose and joy, I’m here to walk beside you and support you on the journey. We will work well together if you feel a readiness to dive in and make change. Allow me the gift of seeing the light in you! I’m a graduate of Naropa University’s Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy program and take mindfulness-based approaches to healing, including using AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) to support you in experiencing your emotions and thriving. I am trained in Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects, and take an ecopsychological approach to our work together, incorporating elements of the land upon which we walk. I look forward to supporting you on your life adventure, and most especially the journey inward to self — as you reconnect to your own true nature. Let’s meet for a walk - virtually, or in person!
