Biography
Navigating life's daily challenges and changes can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving you unsure of the right path forward. Seeking support can feel daunting, but having someone to listen, validate your feelings, and provide a safe space, can make a difference in how you experience the journey. Collaboration is at the heart of my work. I offer compassionate support grounded in empathy, kindness, and a genuine desire to foster growth, healing and advocate for my clients. My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, flexible, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed, valuing resilience, meaningful connection, and respect. Whether you're seeking a safe place for yourself or your child/youth to talk and process, or a structured approach to finding solutions, I am here to walk beside you. With over 20 years in the human services field, my professional experience combined with my personal journey as a mother and adoptee has emphasized the value of connection, human resilience, and adaptability. I am dedicated to empowering children, youth, and families to grow and thrive, and I look forward to supporting you and/or your family as you work towards the goals that have led you to seek counselling. Please note: I cannot accept referrals for children/youth under the age of 19 who live in South Surrey/White Rock, BC due to a contract that I hold.
