About

I can work with you to help you uncover your innate curiosity, compassion and clarity, in order to feel a greater sense of peace, presence and purpose in your life. I support individuals who are experiencing emotional/relational challenges, perinatal mental health challenges, students, ADHD, anxiety, low self-esteem/identity, trauma and grief. You don't have to navigate this alone!

Biography

I believe that difficult times invite us into opportunity for change, growth and transformation. I've been there too, and know how hard it can be. I also believe that you are capable, strong and resilient - and it's my goal to reflect these qualities back to you. I'm here to support you on your journey inward, to help you remember your strengths, nourish your nervous system and (re)connect with who you are. My approach to therapy is a collaborative, exploratory and creative process. Together, let's lean into an embodied space that encourages you to feel more grounded, present and aligned with your sense of Self, your values and relationships. Our work together will invite you to honour the experience of being a human as you ebb and flow through the seasons of life. As a yoga teacher, I have a focus on embodiment and the mind-body connection. The backbone of my work is drawn from the modalities Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I regularly draw on other modalities (such as mindfulness, somatic approaches, Narrative Therapy, self-compassion and Polyvagal theory) into my work as well. No matter the approach, all of my work is client centered, trauma informed as well as LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming. I work with individuals who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, seeking emotional wellness, who are feeling stuck, struggling in relationships, exploring their sense of self or needing some clarity as they navigate life transitions. I have a special focus and passion for working with young adults finding their way in this crazy world, and for supporting folks along their fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting journey. I have experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses and challenges including trauma, stress, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges and ADHD. On a personal note, you can find me travelling (or dreaming up fun adventures!), baking sourdough bread, chasing after my spunky toddler and sweet rescue pup, or cooking delicious food with my husband.
