About

Art therapy combines creativity and psychology to support self-expression, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth. I support children and adults through life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression or relationship challenges. Using a humanistic, person centred approach client build self-esteem, explore emotions, develop healthy boundaries, and reconnect with inner resources.

Biography

Véronique Lagrange completed her Master's degree in art therapy at Concordia University. She is a professional member of the Quebec Art-therapy Association. She has more than 10 years' experience working with families, first as a special needs childcare worker in a daycare center, then as a community worker with neurodiverse adults living with or without intellectual disabilities in an employability program using visual arts, singing and theater. During her university studies, she worked as an art therapy intern with elementary school children to support their overall development and well-being within their community. In addition to her private art therapy practice at Centre Thérapeutique Boréal, Véronique has worked as an art therapist in an elementary school setting with a First Nation community and at Friends for Mental Health to support families and loved ones of people living with mental health issues. She is interested in the practice of mindfulness, child development, neurodiversity, grief, trauma and resilience, and she is completing a graduate training in Mindfullness Applied to the Helping Relationship at UQAM.
