Hey, I’m Leanna—the therapist behind Haven Therapy Co. Therapy with me isn’t super formal or rigid—it’s more like a real conversation. My approach is laid-back, honest, and grounded in building genuine relationships. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors who feel stuck in life, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by anxiety, low mood, or the impact of trauma. Whether it’s exploring how your past shaped your present or navigating life’s challenges, I’m here to help you make sense of it all and to provide practical strategies—at your pace, in a space that feels safe, compassionate, and judgment-free. Healing doesn’t have to look perfect. We’ll figure it out together. I pull from different approaches depending on what you need—whether that’s attachment-based work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), or somatic techniques to help regulate the nervous system. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach because everyone is different. Some people need structure, some need space to process, and some need a mix of both. Every treatment is tailored specifically to you and your specific goals and needs. More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can show up as you are—no pressure, no judgment, no ‘perfect way’ to do this. Just real, honest conversations that help you move through whatever’s keeping you stuck.
