About

Heather Andrew is the founder of Aspen Wellness Centre. Heather has been a Mental Health Therapist for over eight years, supporting clients with a variety of needs including complex trauma, ADHD, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, family conflict and more. Heather is passionate about providing trauma informed care to her clients and is a fierce advocate for mental health awareness.

Biography

For many years, Heather dreamed of opening a wellness centre that provided holistic services to heal the body, mind and spirit. Over the last five years, Heather has built a team of trauma informed, heart centred professionals that offer a variety of healing services including mental health therapy, massage therapy and other wellness services. It is an honour and privilege to serve our community and help people on their healing journey. Before entering into private practice, Heather spent three years working as a school based therapist in an inner-city school, and as a therapist serving clients with Children's Services involvement. She is very experienced in supporting diverse clients with complex needs by striving to build safe, trusting relationships with individuals and families. Heather is experienced in providing individual therapy for children (10 years+), youth and adults. Heather is proud to be a Preferred Provider for the Edmonton Police Service and their families. She is also a skilled group facilitator and presenter. In her free time, Heather loves spending time outdoors. Heather believes that nature is healing for the body, mind and spirit. You will often find her camping, hiking, climbing mountains, tending to her garden or enjoying walks with her partner and her dog Benny. When she isn’t exploring the great outdoors, Heather also enjoys trying new food and drinks in the company of friends and family.
