Parker Willis
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Ontario, supporting clients through a grounded, relational, and evidence‑informed approach. My path into psychotherapy began long before my formal training. I first worked in community and development settings, where I learned how resilience is shaped by relationships, environment, and access to support. Those early experiences continue to influence how I understand people and the challenges they carry.
I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, building on earlier studies in International Development at York University and a Graduate Certificate from Humber College. My clinical work has included supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, identity transitions, emotional disconnection, and long‑standing patterns that no longer feel workable.
My therapeutic style is steady, collaborative, and paced. I draw from somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), emotion‑focused principles, and neurodevelopmentally informed strategies. I pay close attention to how the body holds stress, how protective patterns develop, and how clients can build internal resources that support meaningful change.
A significant part of my practice involves working with men who may feel pressure to manage everything alone or who have learned to disconnect from their emotional world. I offer a space that is respectful, non‑pressuring, and grounded—where clients can explore their experiences without judgment or expectation. My goal is not to push people into vulnerability but to create the conditions where it becomes possible.
Clients often describe me as calm, clear, and easy to talk to. I value structure, transparency, and a strong therapeutic relationship. Whether someone is seeking support for a specific concern or looking to understand themselves more deeply, I work alongside them to build insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward a more connected way of being.
