Biography
My work focuses on helping people cultivate healthier relationships—with themselves and others. This includes building skills around boundaries, conflict resolution, and assertive communication, emotional regulation skills, as well as addressing relational patterns rooted in early experiences. I am a practicing counselling psychologist based in Calgary, Alberta. I completed my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary in 2005, and have been a registered psychologist dedicated to my client work since 2007. As a highly sensitive person, introvert, and someone who deeply cares about people and the importance of healthy relationships, I strive to create a safe, warm, and attuned therapeutic presence in my work. My practice is marked by a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am a cisgender, able-bodied woman of European ancestry; I acknowledge my privilege and strive to create a space where individuals of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and supported. I am also interested in the role psychedelic medicine can play in mental health and healing. In my downtime, I maintain a regular meditation practice and am deeply committed to engaging in active practices that help me stay present to the full spectrum of the human experience—from moments of challenge and stress, to those that inspire awe, wonder, and joy. In 2025, I completed a two-year mindfulness meditation training program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, deepening my practice and understanding. I love engaging in endeavors that support my growth and evolution whether it’s sport, yoga, reading, relationships, or breathwork. I also cherish meaningful connections with loved ones and find renewal in the quiet solitude of nature.
