Fran Isaacs

I have completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am currently in private practice at the Ottawa Psychotherapy Center. I am retired from my previous career but am returning to the study of psychotherapy as a calling which has deep meaning for me. As an older person, I draw on lived experience, from difficulties such as surviving cancer and dealing with aging, loss and death, to finding resilience, meaning and new paths to follow. I align as much as possible my approaches to working with you and with your present circumstances and needs. I focus on building self-awareness and developing new ways of being and doing that can lead to more workable solutions for your life and needs.
