I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist offering online therapy for adults in Ontario, Canada. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for individuals experiencing life transitions, emotional challenges, and identity shifts. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (specializing in Mental Health and Health) from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Development Studies from York University, Canada. I work with individuals navigating migration, identity challenges, cultural adjustment, social isolation and belonging, family conflict, intergenerational dynamics, and relationship challenges. I provide support for those dealing with depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. As an IFHP provider in Canada, I also offer therapy and psychological assessment reports for refugee claimants in Ontario. Therapy sessions for refugee claimants are directly billed through Medavie Blue Cross. As a South Asian therapist with lived and professional experience from Canada, Pakistan, and the UK, I understand the nuances of navigating multiple cultures, identities, and value systems. I offer sessions in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and aim to make therapy feel accessible and culturally grounded. My therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative.
