person Biography
You might come to therapy feeling stuck in familiar patterns - ways of coping, thinking, or relating that once made sense but now feel hard to shift. You may be thoughtful and self-aware, yet find yourself overthinking, avoiding certain emotions, or feeling disconnected from who you are or where you’re headed. Questions about identity, values, and purpose often sit quietly underneath these experiences. I work with adults navigating identity questions, life transitions, relationship patterns, grief, and periods of feeling disconnected from themselves. Many of the people I support are high-functioning and introspective, yet feel caught in cycles of overthinking, emotional avoidance, or behaviours that offer short-term relief but don’t lead to lasting change. My approach is grounded in radical acceptance - learning how to meet the present moment as it is, rather than fighting against it. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), parts-based approaches, and polyvagal-informed work to help you build tolerance for difficult internal experiences, understand emotional patterns, and reconnect with what’s happening in both mind and body. I aim to create a space that feels grounded and collaborative, where we can explore what feels stuck, clarify what matters to you, and begin responding to life in ways that feel more intentional and aligned with who you’re becoming.
