About

If you feel stuck in cycles of binge eating, dieting, guilt, or feeling out of control around food, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to understand what’s driving these patterns and build a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

Biography

If binge eating or feeling out of control around food has started to take up more space in your life than you want, therapy can offer a place to slow things down and make sense of what’s happening. Many people come in feeling frustrated, ashamed, or exhausted from trying to manage their eating on their own. You don’t need more rules or willpower — you need understanding, support, and space to explore what’s driving these patterns. In our work together, the focus is on helping you feel safer and more grounded around food, your body, and your emotions. Therapy is collaborative and paced around your needs, with an emphasis on reducing shame, building self-trust, and developing more sustainable ways of coping. We explore how binge eating may have developed and how it functions in your life, and how change can happen without judgment or pressure. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree from Yorkville University, and my approach is shaped by over 20 years in the helping field. My background includes supporting people with disordered eating, addictions, mental health concerns, and crisis situations in a range of settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, university counselling, and private practice. I aim to provide a calm, steady, and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood, and move at a pace that feels right. If you’re looking for someone who understands how complex and deeply personal eating struggles can be, therapy can be a place to feel less alone and start building a more peaceful relationship with food and your body. Please reach out for a free consultation. I offer in person and virtual therapy for your convenience.
