I'm Colombe, therapist at Ember Counselling Therapy, and I help individuals and couples build emotional balance, heal from past pain, and create healthier relationships.

Biography

My goal is to support you in finding clarity, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of connection; with yourself and with others. I offer in-person sessions in Moncton, NB & virtual appointments. I work with couples, teens (13 and up), as well as adults of all ages. I strive to make therapy as accessible and stress-free as possible. We can talk about payment options before your first session, and may be able to provide direct billing for some insurance providers. If not possible, I'm happy to provide a receipt you can use for reimbursement. My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I integrate a range of tools and approaches (EFT, ACT, DBT, CBT) to help you better understand your emotions, develop practical coping strategies, and shift unhelpful patterns. Always at a pace and style that feels right for you. Therapy with me begins with getting to know you: your story, your struggles, and what you hope to change. From the very beginning, I work to create a non-judgmental, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are. There's no pressure to have it all figured out, just a willingness to explore and grow. I hold an Honours Bachelor's degree in Psychology & a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have several years of experience supporting youth, adults, and families through various life challenges, including stress management, life transitions, workplace stress & building essential life skills.
