Kumasi Jay Gwynne
Registered Psychotherapist
I believe that it is important to understand the ways in which harmful systemic systems impact us. I work well with people who have been missed or harmed by traditional mental health services. I also work well with anyone that has experienced trauma. My approach is trauma informed.
I believe that it is important to understand the ways in which harmful systemic systems impact us. I work well with people that have been missed or harmed by traditional mental health services. I also work well with people new to therapy, and people that are experienced with therapy that are looking to dig a little deeper.
Whether your anxiety is sky high or you feel depressed or angry, or you just can't catch a break, we can talk about it. Maybe you feel burnt out, or you're in transition, or you just feel plain numb. You can show up to therapy as you are.
I want to know all of you. I will never reduce you to just one part of your identity. You are complex and I will always respect this.
My ultimate goal is to provide a space where connected healing can take place.
