Biography
Do you experience unwanted thoughts, images, or urges that feel upsetting, confusing, or that go against your values and intentions? Have you found yourself engaging in certain behaviours to try to get rid of the anxiety they create, only to feel more stuck over time? Do you carry these experiences in silence because you're worried about what they might mean about you? Intrusive thoughts can feel frightening and isolating, but they are far more common than many people realize. They often occur in people experiencing OCD, PTSD, and anxiety, and having these thoughts does not mean you want them or that they reflect your character. Having intrusive thoughts doesn’t have to be so isolating or frightening. Using a holistic and individualized approach, I work with those experiencing intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviours to better understand their experiences, break free from unhelpful patterns, and regain a sense of control and confidence in their daily lives. I am passionate about helping people overcome distressing thoughts and compulsive behaviours. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to answer any questions you may have and explore whether working together feels like the right fit. Please visit my website to learn more.
