About

Hi, I am Kasey Chung, MSW, RSW. I offer virtual counselling for youth and adults in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin across British Columbia. Whether you're seeking a single session, short-term support, or longer-term counselling, I provide a safe and compassionate space to navigate personal growth and emotional distress, and help you access community resources and supports when needed.

Biography

Feeling stuck lately? Growing up and navigating adulthood can feel overwhelming. You may be managing stress, anxiety, low mood, burnout, or life transitions, while trying to meet the expectations of family, school, work, or yourself. Even if you appear to be coping on the outside, things can feel heavy inside. Growth begins with making space for yourself. When life feels overwhelming, counselling offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your emotions, and better understand the experiences that have shaped you. I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work, specializing in Health and Mental Health. I bring over 5 years of experience supporting children, youth, and adult through school, community, and mental health services, providing evidence-based and culturally responsive care. As a social worker, I see each person within the context of their relationships, culture, and environment. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed, integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs. You are the expert on your life, and I'm here to support you in a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive space. I offer virtual counseling in a compassionate and confidential setting. Sessions are available Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings. To help make counselling more accessible, I currently offer an introductory rate of $120 per session. I provide receipts for insurance reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage for services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get to know each other, discuss your needs, and see whether my approach feels like the right fit. I look forward to connecting with you!
