About

I help individuals and couples navigate relationship challenges, infertility, betrayal, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach integrates psychodynamic, attachment-based, and evidence-based therapies to foster deeper insight, strengthen relationships, and support meaningful, lasting change.

Biography

As a Registered Psychotherapist, I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where individuals and couples can safely explore the experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns that have shaped their lives. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, life transitions, self-worth, relationship challenges, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, infidelity, separation, divorce, parenting, intimacy, and personal growth. I have a particular passion for helping individuals and couples better understand themselves, strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and navigate the complexities of relationships. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based psychotherapy while integrating evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Adlerian psychology. Together, we explore not only the challenges you are facing today but also the deeper emotional patterns, relational experiences, and unconscious processes that continue to influence your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I have completed specialized training through the University of Guelph's Intensive Sex Therapy Training Institute, allowing me to support individuals and couples navigating concerns related to intimacy, sexuality, desire, boundaries, betrayal, and relational functioning. I hold a Master of Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School, where my graduate research focused on cultivating spousal attunement following trauma. I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trent University and a postgraduate certificate in Youth Corrections and Interventions from Durham College. I believe therapy is about more than symptom reduction. It is an opportunity to understand the stories beneath our stories, develop deeper self-awareness, strengthen our relationships, and create lasting change. Whether you are navigating a difficult season, rebuilding after loss, growing your family, or seeking greater clarity and connection, I look forward to supporting you on that journey.
