Cayla Townes
Registered Psychotherapist
I'm a therapist specializing in grief, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I help individuals gain understanding and new ways of thinking about themselves, their situations, and others that help them lead more purposeful, hopeful lives.
I believe everyone has a story, and that story is worth listening to. What happens all too often is that the story we tell about ourselves isn't true. Instead of being a reflection of our true, authentic selves, it's based on the pain and hurt we've experienced.
The things we believe about ourselves are crucial to our well-being because they shape our thoughts, feelings, and choices. If we believe negative things about who we are at our core, it can lead to symptoms and behaviours that interfere with our wellbeing.
This is where I come in. I provide support and validation to create a place where you can explore what it means to be your authentic self. Within this space you can begin rewriting your story and seeing yourself for the unique and deserving person you are.
It's my privilege to walk beside you on your journey.
