Sanja Dejanovic, PhD
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Wondering why some experiences or interactions feel overwhelming, activating or stress inducing? Tough experiences throughout our lives lead to adaptive and protective responses that, though useful at the time to cope, can get in the way of feeling present, navigating challenging situations, or have fulfilling connections. My therapeutic style is to explore the deeper emotional learnings toward internal unburdening.
I work primarily with individuals experiencing grief, trauma, stress, attachment related or relational issues, neurodivergent, and emotional processing.
As a therapist trained in sensorimotor and somatic psychotherapies, mindfulness, IFS, brainspotting, DBT, attachment-based, among other therapies, I design individualized treatment interventions. My couples work is rooted in IFIO, Gottman and attachment theory.
