Laura Lockhart

Laura is a trauma-focused psychotherapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, overwhelm, attachment trauma, and relational challenges. Her approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, experiential, and Internal Family Systems (parts work) therapies to support meaningful, lasting change. She is known for being both intuitive and direct. Laura creates a space where clients feel deeply understood, while also gently challenging the patterns that keep them stuck. Her work is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and a strong belief that healing happens through honest, attuned connection. Laura’s practice is holistic and may include hypnotherapy, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), and equine-assisted psychotherapy. She is trained in psychedelic integration, including work related to ketamine, psilocybin, and ayahuasca, supporting clients in preparation, integration, and meaning-making when appropriate. She is neurodivergent affirming and a 2SLGBTQIA+ ally, and is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful environment for all clients. Laura’s work is informed not only by her professional training, but also by her own lived experience of navigating mental health challenges and seeking deeper healing beyond traditional approaches. This perspective allows her to meet clients with both clinical skill and genuine understanding.
