My therapeutic style is eclectic and tailored to each individual. I draw from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy (NT). I believe that each person has a unique story, and by sharing your authentic self, we can collaboratively explore which therapeutic method fits you best. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" model—therapy should reflect your personal goals, needs, and aspirations for the future.
I strive to create a collaborative and creative environment, where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I value and embrace diversity, working from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed perspective that acknowledges intergenerational trauma and systemic marginalization. I incorporate both trauma-focused and person-centered approaches, always mindful of how your culture, spirituality, worldview, and life experiences shape who you are.
Together, we’ll explore your current challenges and define realistic, meaningful goals. I’ll support you in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses, while also helping you develop tools for self-regulation, self-compassion, and personal growth. As Maya Angelou reminds us: “If I am not good to myself, how can I expect anyone else to be good to me?”
I believe that healing begins with authenticity and trust. I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where we can “dig deep” to plant the seeds for lasting change. As an eclectic soul, I often bring in metaphors, humor, and creative or alternative coping strategies to ensure the work we do together truly resonates with you.
I recognize that reaching out for therapy takes courage. Just by taking this first step, you’re already moving toward change—and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
