Bethany Richer
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem difficulties, ADHD, emotional regulation, school stress, sleep struggles, and relationship concerns. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centred. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.
Drawing from a mix of modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems approaches, and trauma-informed practices. I work with clients to identify patterns, clarify values, and build coping strategies that support lasting change. I also have experience supporting neurodiverse clients and tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy fitness and exploring language and culture, which informs my inclusive approach and ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I am committed to helping individuals build resilience, confidence, and self-understanding, while fostering a sense of hope and agency in their lives.
