Joty Deol
Registered Psychotherapist
Welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re going through something heavy or unclear. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by low mood, struggling with self-worth, navigating relationship challenges, adjusting to life after childbirth, or carrying the effects of past trauma—please know you don’t have to go through it alone.
As a therapist, I’m here to offer a compassionate, grounded space where you can simply be yourself—without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out. I deeply value the uniqueness of every person I work with, and I take a gentle, personalized approach to therapy. My work is guided by empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience.
I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and solution-focused techniques. But more importantly, I tailor each session to you—to what you need in that moment, and what feels manageable and meaningful. Some days, that might look like digging into patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you. Other days, it might be about finding space to breathe, reflect, or simply be heard.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with your inner strength, clarify what matters to you, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and supportive. I believe that healing is possible, even in the smallest of shifts, and I’m here to walk alongside you through the process.
I currently offer virtual sessions to individuals across Ontario, making therapy more accessible, flexible, and safe—especially during times of transition or uncertainty.
If you're ready to begin or even just thinking about it, I welcome you exactly as you are.
