For many people, finding a therapist who truly understands their cultural background can be a challenge. As a South Asian therapist, I bring the richness of three cultures, four languages, and the rare perspective of being both a first- and third-generation immigrant. These lived experiences allow me to deeply empathize with the immigrant journey across generations, as well as the ways culture, family expectations, and identity can shape mental health. No matter your background or story, I aim to meet you with genuine understanding, respect, and compassion. How I Work When you step into therapy with me, you’ll find a calm, safe, and judgment-free space where your voice is central. I work with adults (18+) on a wide range of concerns, including: Anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout Low motivation, self-doubt, and perfectionism Self-esteem, people-pleasing tendencies, and identity issues Relationship and trust concerns Attachment-based and intergenerational trauma Life transitions and major changes ADHD, neurodivergence, and mood disorders Many clients come to me seeking not just relief from symptoms, but also a deeper understanding of themselves — how past experiences and trauma have shaped their worldview, patterns of responding, and sense of self. Therapy is a space to reflect, grow, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
