Jamie Tjeng
Therapist Intern
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and I’m honoured to walk alongside you in this process. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, I offer a compassionate and grounded space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.
I work with teens, adults, and couples, and I’m especially passionate about supporting those experiencing anxiety, disordered eating, low self-worth, and difficulties in relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel understood and connected.
My own experiences with healing and growth deeply inform how I show up as a therapist. I know how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help, and I strive to create a space where you're met with empathy and genuine care. Therapy with me is not about fixing you, instead it’s about exploring, together, what’s getting in the way and reconnecting with your strengths and inner wisdom.
I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Adlerian theory, and strength-based approaches, always tailoring the work to your unique needs and comfort level. Whether you're looking to build healthier relationships, better understand yourself, or simply find more ease in day-to-day life, I’m here to support you.
Outside the therapy room, I am passionate about holistic health and wellness, exploring nature, listening to music, or spending time with animals.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-20 minute consultation. I look forward to connecting and learning more about how we can work together toward your goals.
