Jamie Tjeng
Therapist Intern
Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming or a little scary. The fact that you’re reading this shows self-awareness and a readiness to take a step forward. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you explore your next steps.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, relationship challenges, addictions, disordered eating, or feeling stuck in old patterns. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to navigate it alone — support can make a meaningful difference.
As a Therapist Intern under the supervision of registered psychotherapists, I offer sliding scale sessions ($30–$75) to make therapy accessible. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I don’t believe in “fixing” you — you’re not broken. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and help you reconnect with your strengths and inner wisdom. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Adlerian Theory, and strength-based approaches, tailoring our work to what feels right for you.
I also bring my own life experience to our sessions. Having worked through challenges with the support of therapy myself, I understand how life experiences shape self-esteem, relationships, and sense of belonging. I know how important it is to feel heard and to have a safe space to talk.
Outside of therapy, I find grounding in nature, music (singing and guitar), good food, snowboarding, animals, and prioritizing balance and wellness.
If this resonates, I invite you to a free 15–20 minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
